One of the challenges I’ve faced as a senior software engineer in many enterprises, is the path from source code to production is often a mismanaged endeavor.
CICD is the answer, but getting there often talks a long hard look at how developers are currently deploying their applications.
I presented this to our NISC group of 300+ developers to help us understand what we were doing right, and what we had yet to accomplish to get to our applications on a CICD pipeline.
